HVAC
While most buildings have long been smoke free, this does not mean
you are breathing clean air. There are many other factors that can be
attributed to the quality of your indoor air. Some of these include;
recycled, contaminated air, recent remodeling or construction projects.
These all serve to lessen the quality of the air.
Agencies concerned with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) have determined that
your HVAC ductwork is largely responsible for spreading contaminated air
throughout the building. Symptoms such as; acute discomfort, headache,
eye, nose or throat irritation, dry cough, dry itchy skin, dizziness,
nausea, difficulty in concentrating, fatigue and sensitivity to odors
can be attributed to what is termed, "SICK BUILDING SYNDROME," (SBS).
These problems could be the result of contaminant's within your HVAC
duct system.
Upon recognizing any of the above symptoms of SBS, Shaban Inc. can
be of service. We have earned a reputation throughout the healthcare and
pharmaceutical industries, as the leading service agency specializing in
eradicating "SICK BUILDING SYNDROME".
A two step program will serve to determine if you have a problem,
and if so, to what extent.
- The initial visit calls for inspecting several offices on a
few floors to study the duct configurations. This takes less than
half an hour and does not disturb the office routine, nor create suspicion.
- On a selected evening we revisit the site and inspect some of the supply
and return ducting. This is achieved by opening the duct, and placing a remote
controlled robot with a camera inside. A color monitor permits us to view the
interiors and allows us to direct the robot.
During this exercise, a color video is produced and left on site.
Within a few days a written report is issued which notes our Findings and Recommendations.
This document/video serves to determine if interior duct cleaning is necessary.
While the specifics associated with inspections vary from site to site, the above is only
meant to offer a broad overview.
Our projects are always satisfactorily completed on time. Years of experience and dedication
ensure quality performance along with highly competitive pricing. For more information, or to
